Selling your second hand bike is easy

1. Bring your bike

Bring us your bike in the morning and set the price you want to sell for.

2. Enjoy the free time

While we sell your bike, you can use the free time for yourself.

3. Get your money

Around 03:00 you come back and pick up either your money or your bike.

Bike dropoff

08:00 - 11:00

  • You turn your bike in
  • You fill out a contract for the bike
  • You set the price
  • You put the bike on the closed-off market
  • You pay three euros per bike as a processing fee

Sale

10:00 – 15:00

  • You can stay on site and promote your bike, but you don't have to
  • Visitors can test ride the bike (ID card as a deposit)
  • Customer pays at the checkout of "Fietsenbörse" at your fixed price (no negotiating)

Payment / Return

15:00 – 16:00

  • You will receive the money for your sold bike (minus a sales commission)
  • You can find all commissions on the current price list
  • If the bike is not sold, you can take it home again (no further costs arise)

Tip

If you want to sell more than five bikes on one market, we will gladly send you the contracts in advance. This saves you time on market day!

Important

To prevent the sale of stolen bikes, we demand proof of identity (identity card or driving licence) from all sellers!

New distribution channel

Get involved at the biggest point of contact for bicycle seekers in your city.

High sales quotas

Due to strong regional advertising, many retailers achieve sales quotas of up to 75%.

Low risk

You only pay 3 Euro per bike as a processing fee. If you don't sell a bike (which is very unlikely), there are no further costs.

Bring your bikes in the morning, open your shop, pick up the money

You can simply bring us your bikes in the morning and then open your bike shop. We sell your bikes while you are simultaneously working in your own shop. In the afternoon you come back to collect your money or your unsold bikes.

Many sales

We have some dealers on our markets who sell over 20 bikes per market. Why shouldn't you be one of them.

Turning non-sellers into cash

Since Fietsenbörse has a very broad range of customers, you can easily get rid of your non selling bikes.

Tip

If you want to sell more than five bikes on one market, we will gladly send you the contracts in advance. This saves you time on market day!

Important

  • To prevent the sale of stolen bikes, we require all sellers to provide proof of identity (identity card or driving licence)!
  • For the market in Hamburg a reservation is necessary. To do so, go to the respective date on our website and enter your name in the online form.
